Visa-Free Travel Expanded for 35 European Countries

The Belarusian government has announced a significant expansion of its visa-free travel program, now including citizens from 35 additional European countries. This move is expected to boost medical tourism significantly, allowing patients easier access to the country’s high-quality healthcare system.

Previously, visitors often required a medical invitation letter and a visa application process that could take several weeks. Under the new regulations, citizens from the listed countries can enter Belarus for up to 30 days without a visa, provided they enter through Minsk National Airport.

For medical tourists, this means less paperwork and faster access to treatment. ‘We are seeing a surge in inquiries from Germany, Poland, and the UK,’ says Dr. Ivan Petrov of the Republican Clinical Medical Center. ‘Patients can now book an appointment and fly in the same week.’

Travelers are still advised to carry valid medical insurance and proof of funds tailored to their stay. Our agency continues to provide full support for logistics, including airport transfers and accommodation, ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
